This role is for Data Scientist (Contractor), reporting to the Lead Product Manager. This role can be joined from anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities
- Conducting statistical analyses to inform product development and marketing strategies
- Ranges from cohort and retention analyses to analyzing effectiveness of specific product features and funnel drop offs
- Developing, maintaining, and routinely looking at data dashboards and visualizations to track key metrics and performance indicators
- Collaborating with product management, marketing, and cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for data-driven improvements
- Concisely communicating findings and insights to stakeholders, usually through a mix of dashboards, written documentation, and live presentation
- Participating in twice weekly data meetings
We are looking for people to demonstrate the following experience and skills:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in statistics, computer science, data science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field
